Stroller-Trike

The smarTrike Traveler is Here! Everything You Need to Know About the World's First Active Stroller for children

Posted by The smarTrike Team on

Introducing the world’s first active stroller for children! The Traveler seamlessly converts from a cosy stroller, ideal for naps on the move, to an exciting toddler trike with just a click of a button. Designed for children from 6 months to 4 years old, this innovative stroller/trike allows your child to gain independence as they transition from pushchair mode to pedalling their own tricycle. How does the Traveler adapt to your child’s growth? Its extendable seat, integrated leg rest, and removable features ensure a comfortable fit at every stage.

    • From 6 months - Naptime on-the-go. For this stage you can keep the bumper bar on, remove the leg rests and strap your child in with the 5-point harness. The seat can recline comfortably up to 160°.
    • From 12 months - Early Explorers. At this stage parents can guide the way, but your little adventurers can feel like they are in control by holding onto the comfy handlebars.
    • From 18 months - Active Participation. The Traveler’s innovative parent/child steering modes makes it easy for parents to switch control, allowing curious toddlers to steer the trike, helping them to practise coordination.
    • From 24 months - Trike Time. Once your child outgrows the buggy, parents can simply attach the included pedals and switch to trike mode. When the child gets tired, parents can switch to parent control and push the stroller without needing to carry the trike.

This stroller-trike has been designed to encourage your child to be active from an early age, supporting their development and inspiring play and exploration. The handlebars are perfect for little hands to grip onto, and with the option to transform it into a trike by adding pedals, every outdoor adventure becomes an exciting journey.

Where can I take the Traveler?

From busy city streets to the serene green parks, the Traveler tackles any landscape with ease. Its oversized, shock-absorbing 360° front wheel ensures a smooth ride, even on the bumpiest surfaces. Whether it's a sunny day in the UK or abroad, the UPF 50 sun canopy will keep your little ones protected. When it's time to pack up, the quick-fold mechanism makes it compact and easy to store, perfect for any adventure on the go.

Safety is always our top priority. The Traveler features a 5-point harness, an integrated bumper bar (removable when the child outgrows the stroller), and a handy wrist strap for extra security. Elevate your family adventures and redefine urban travel – the Traveler is not just a stroller; it's a transformative experience waiting to unfold.
