What are some exercises or activities to strengthen my baby's legs for walking after learning how to crawl?

Our little tot has just learnt how to crawl. We know she will most likely start walking within the next 2-3months. Are there any activities that we can do with her to help her legs get stronger?

Here are some exercises and activities that can help your baby's legs strengthen in preparation for walking.

Practise 'cruising' by assisting your baby is standing next to a sturdy item, such as a sofa or a coffee table, and encouraging her to take steps while holding onto it.

Roll a ball to your baby and encourage her to crawl after it or grab it while standing.

Swimming is a great low-impact workout that will assist build your baby's leg muscles. Just make sure you monitor her and utilise suitable flotation equipment.
