What are the signs that my baby is ready to start walking after crawling?

Our baby boy just started started crawling 1 month ago. We want to be prepared for when he is ready to start walking as we want to support this stage. At the moment he is just crawling everywhere. How do we know when he is ready to walk?

Pulling yourself up to a standing posture, cruising around furniture while hanging on, taking a few steps when supported, and displaying increased balance and coordination are all signs that your baby is ready to start walking after crawling. Keep in mind that each baby develops at their own speed, so some milestones may differ.
