I gave birth about 7 months ago and I'm noticing the rapid growth of my baby day by day. For interest sake, does gross motor skills develop before fine motor skills? I want to know so that I can support these developments.

As a new parent, it's natural to want to support your baby's development in every way possible. Gross motor skills tend to develop before fine motor skills. Infants generally gain control over larger muscles, such as those in the arms and legs, before smaller muscles, like those in the hands and fingers. However, it's important to support both types of development through various activities and play.
