I am due in the next month and I am stocking up on baby accessories in the mean time. I'd like to buy a stroller trike because I know I will be using it for years. But I'd prefer not to buy a traditional stroller since my baby can use the trike from 6 months onwards. Is there any way the trike can still be used for a newborn?

Stroller trikes are generally meant for toddlers and should not be used with babies. It is advised that you purchase a regular stroller intended particularly for babies and then move to a stroller trike when your kid is older and has learned the essential motor abilities.
Stroller trikes are typically appropriate for children from 9 months to 3 years.
