Are there any safety concerns with the stroller trike's steering system?

I am so intrigued by smarTrikes touch steering technology and I cannot wait for mine to be delivered. I am however interested to know if there are any unique safety concerns with touch steering because it is quite new to me and I am used to manually steering. & how do I further ensure my child's safety with this new tech?
