Should I limit crawling once my baby starts attempting to walk?

Asked 2 years ago

My baby started walking on her own a week ago, but still prefers to crawl most of the time. Is this something that's okay? Will it cause her to be too lazy to walk?

No, crawling should not be restricted after your kid begins to walk. Crawling is beneficial for developing strength and coordination. Encourage your baby to crawl and offer a secure setting for her to practise walking when the time comes. Keep in mind that each infant develops at their own speed.
