I don't really see moms babywearing all that often anymore but traditionally it is known to have positive effects like preventing flat head syndrome and reducing reflux. I am very much into babywearing but would like to know if it aids in the development of gross motor skills in any way?

Babywearing has various advantages for gross motor development. It allows for more vestibular stimulation and body awareness as the infant reacts to the caregiver's motions. It also allows for more contact with the environment, increasing visual exploration and balancing reflexes, all of which contribute to the development of total gross motor skills.
