Can regular trike rides help my baby recognize shapes and patterns?

My child is now 18 months old and extremely alert. She easily recognizes the shapes of her favorite fruits at home. I want to expose her to various shapes outside and help her understand the world around her. I'm considering buying her a baby trike, but I'm not sure if this is the perfect idea.

While regular trike rides can introduce your child to different experiences and environments, they may not immediately aid with shape and pattern identification. Shape-specific activities, like playing with shape-sorting toys or puzzles, would increase their grasp of shapes more successfully.
