I'm a new parent and would love to know when my baby will begin developing these fine motor skills so that I can support her development. I've read that it is from the age of 8 months - is this true? She is 6 months now and I am very excited for her growth!

Babies start developing their fine motor skills in the first few months of life, by grasping and holding objects. By 6 months, they intentionally reach for objects and manipulate them with their fingers. As they grow, they refine these skills with activities like stacking blocks, drawing with crayons, and using utensils.
