Will allowing my baby to steer the smart trike improve her hand-eye coordination?

My bay enjoys being outside, especially going to the park. She's eager to explore, and I enjoy letting her take the lead when we walk. My friend mentioned getting a baby trike with a stroller feature she can control, and I would like to know if letting her steer the trike will improve her hand-eye coordination.
