Will my toddler's balance improve as they learn to paddle with a trike?

Asked 2 years ago

My twins are 13 months old and a rowdy bunch. They enjoy walking, but they still wobble and cannot travel far. I'm looking for something fun to help them improve their balance and endurance. My cousin mentioned a trike, and I'm wondering if paddling is the best option.

Undoubtedly, using a trike will help you build stronger, more resilient leg and core muscles. Even though they might not paddle right away, early trike exposure is a wise decision. Leg muscles are stimulated greatly by even pushing the tricycle with the legs, and as an added benefit, coordination is enhanced. For advice on how to assist them with paddling, visit this blog.
