My toddler has just discovered his walking form. He enjoys running around, but he is still shaky and frequently trips. I want to encourage him to walk more and balance independently without my assistance. My brother suggested we get him a baby trike to paddle and learn to balance. Will it also help him with his coordination?

Smart trikes are a fantastic way to increase overall performance. Leg muscle endurance and strength are needed to learn to peddle and propel a bike ahead. Moreover, it increases core stability, an important factor in balance. Learning to peddle promotes bilateral coordination of the lower body, and guiding a bike enhances hand muscle power and endurance, as well as bilateral hand coordination.
