How can I create a safe space for my toddler to practice leg movements, like jumping or climbing?

We really want our baby to be able to develop all skills he needs to and are planning a play-space for him to do so. What do you recommend we do to ensure the space is safe enough to jump, hop and climb in etc?

To provide a safe environment for your child to practise leg motions, keep sharp edges to a minimum, secure furniture to prevent tipping, and use soft landing surfaces such as foam mats or carpets. Remove any potentially dangerous objects or wires. Keep a close check on your child during playtime to ensure your peace of mind. Let the bouncing, hopping, and climbing begin!
